I can not believe it's that time of year again, #MFW! The men's shows for fall/winter 2013-2014 are under way in full swing, which makes for me waking up super early and taking breaks from school and work to watch the live shows and updates. One of my favourite show's for next season is Louis Vuitton! This show, paired with others, hailed fur back in fashion! Kim Jones climbed the Himalaya's for his inspiration and brought back fur and oriental prints. What captivated me was the finale of the show, I love evening wear and bold colours and patterns so I was bound to love the bigger than life finale. Beautiful prints on silk and cashmere were transformed into tuxedo's, nightgown's, and bag's. This part's credit goes to a collaboration with turner prize nominees the Chapman Brothers. They mixed a baroque floral print and Himalayan traditional arts. What resulted was a luxurious exotic and oriental finale to a beautiful show.
